surfing legend and Gold Medalist Duke Kahanamoku.

Royal Hawaiian, the nostalgic "Pink Palace" of
Waikiki has been a Waikiki symbol of romance and gracious luxury since it opened in 1927.  Free historical walking tours (see their site).
Pink ginger, one of Hawaii's many beautiful flowers blooms abundantly on the gracious grounds of Waikiki's Royal Hawaiian Hotel.
