How is an eBook better than a print book?
- An ebook offers interactivity just not possible in print. For example, in my Hawaii Eco Budget guides the live "clickable" links connect you instantly to valuable information (in this case, everything you need to plan and book your travel plans, as well as hiking maps, lifeguard tips, images, coupons and tons more.)
- An ebook is delivered almost instantly. The Hawaii Eco Budget Guide to Oahu is 1.8 Mbs, so with a dial up connection, the download will take just a few minutes (around 5), and with high-speed, it will take just seconds.
- Just as you and friends loan and borrow print books, you may do so with my ebook, by sending a copy from your computer as an attachment or on CD. I never understood why most ebook publishers don't allow this. Of course, as with any other book you purchase, it is illegal to mass produce any part of my book (if you are book reviewer and want to copy a couple sentence or a paragraph, that is of course fine), so in other words don't send to everyone in your address book or post a download link on a Website, which would be a major copyright infringement upon which I would have to take legal action. After all, I invested a great deal of time this guide and have my bills to pay like everyone else.
Can I order a print version?
The Hawaii Eco Budget Travel Guide to Oahu is not available in print at this time. I thought about making it available in print if there's sufficient interest, but then you'd lose the time-saving value of the live links to online resources. Most of the resources, such as free topography hiking maps and ecoupons are printable. And you're welcome to print out any pages of the ebook you want to take with you. Just secure them in a report folder so the tradewinds to send them off in all directions!
I've never used an eBook before. And I'm not very computer savvy. What If can't download the book?

Traditionally ebooks are formatted with Adobe. The Hawaii Eco Budget Guide to Oahu is in Adobe Acrobat PDF format so both PC and Mac owners can enjoy it. Yes! I recommend you use the eBook to complete your planning and booking online, make use of the highlighting and note tools, and then when you're ready to start packing, print out the pages you'll want to have with you, such as the ones with directions and maps and resources it connects you to such as ecoupons.
